Afanasiy Chavdaridi, TRINITY from series INDEPENDENCE DAY OF UKRAINE, 2019
Limited edition out of artist’s print: 1 of 10 available on BidsquareDescription: This photograph was taken during Ukraine's Independence Day parade in 2019, which was believed to be the last one. As I walked amidst the military, I captured several moments on camera, fully aware that we may never see such a sight again. One of the five photos in the series is titled "Trinity," which symbolizes the Holy Trinity on Earth. At the time of taking the photograph, I was not aware that there were Four Horsemen flying in the sky. It's worth noting that five months later, the COVID-19 pandemic began, and in 2022, started full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

His passion for photography began when he received his first camera at the age of 13. He went on to graduate from the Kyiv National University of Culture & Arts, where he studied movie cinematography. Afanasiy has participated in numerous film and photo festivals and exhibitions, including Kyiv Photo Week, KISFF, and the Social Awareness Ads Festival.
