  A rare and unusual Italian grand tour marble frieze panel of a bear eating honey, circa 18th/19th century. This panel is hand-carved from sienna, rouge, and white marble. It's carved relief depicts a bear eating from a jar of honey. Measures: 10" high x 18.5" wide x 1.5" deep Good condition, normal wear consistent with age and use, minor chips to the border.
