Such a classic! Looks like a photograph, a true hand-painted, masterpiece. Watercolor on Paper. Signed Lower left P. Gabrini. Sight: 38" high x 21" wide Frame: 45" high x 28" 3" deep Italian artist Pietro Gabrini was an important artist working in a variety of mediums on diverse subject matters. Perhaps he acquired his range of practices from his teacher, Guglielmo de Sanctis. De Sanctis was an Italian painter, writer and teacher from whom Gabrini learned the historical and cultural significance of the Italian arts. Primarily a watercolor painter, Gabrini often concentrated on compositions of interacting figures in public settings.
