  Pair of exquisite quality French gilt and patinated bronze relief plaques depicting Shakespeare's Othello, circa 1890. After the Othello painting by Carl Ludwig Friedrich Becker (1820-1900). In original frames. Beautifully detailed with gilt and patinated bronze highlights throughout, depicting scenes from William Shakespeare's Othello. Both plaques are stamped DEP. Measures: 9.5"" high x 7.5"" wide Very good condition. Normal wear consistent with age and use.
