  An Exquisite French Gilt and Patinated Bronze Sculpture of Venus, Resting on a Sevres Style Cobalt Blue Enameled Porcelain Pedestal, on Rouge marble base, by Mathurin Moreau, circa 1880. This sculpture is not an ordinary one. It's very rare, unusual, and high quality object. We have never seen another one before in all our years in the business (four generations). Very elegant, and charming. Let the photos do the talking..... Signed Mathurin Moreau. Excellent condition. Minor flakes to the rouge marble base. 15.5" high x 8.5" wide x 5" deep.
