  Margaret Thatcher and state of Qatar, Garrard & Co. Silver gilt presentation set, London, 1983. MARK OF GARRARD LTD, LONDON, 1983 A Three piece Elizabeth II, silver and silver gilt presentation set, presented to Margaret Thatcher by the Qatar Royal Family. In the oriental style and comprising: a coffee pot dallah chased with foliate bands, the hinged cover with baluster finial, a rosewater sprinkler with similar decoration and an incense bukhur burner on plinth, the stem formed as four columns, the tapering body chased with four foliate wreaths and border, all engraved with the Qatar crest, marked on body and stamped underneath 'Garrard & Co Ltd, 112 Regent Street London W, in a fitted leather case stamped with the Qatari crest and 'State of Qatar'. The coffee pot measures: 12" high x 12" wide The fitted case measures: 6.5" high x 19.5" wide x 14" deep Silver weight (2,385 gr.) Excellent condition.
