• Lot Description
  French Ormolu-Mounted White Marble Three Piece Clock Garniture, after Clodion, circa 1880. Comprising of a wine barrel shaped clock with two putti making wine from grapes, and a pair of two-light candlesticks depicting putti, signed Clodion. Very high quality bronze throughout. Candlesticks are wired for electricity. Clock: 15" high x 14" wide x 8" deep Candlesticks to top of bronze: 15" high x 11" wide Very good condition. No damages noted. Normal wear consistent with age and use. We cannot guarantee the time-keeping of the clock. Clock is not running. Clock is lacking back cover.
