This extremely powerful and large-scale bust of Julius Augustus Caesar is made from the fines quality marbles available in the 1850's. The head is made from impeccably carved white Carrara marble, and the chest is fully hand-carved sienna marble depicting armor breastplate siting on a rouge marble base.
Take special note of the depth in the facial features from the hair to the face, ear, nose, mouth, and neck. No matter how you look at this sculpture, the quality just talks to you.
Measuring 34" high x 21" wide x 11" wide.
