Four Plates from Views in the Ottoman Dominions, in Europe, in Asia, and Some of the Mediterranean Islands, from the original drawings taken for Sit Robert Ainslie, by Luigi Mayer
Titled in the plates.
Colored aquatints, sight sizes 10 3/8 x 14 in. (26.5 x 35.5 cm), in matching frames.
Condition: All with subtle creasing, Tortosa with scattered staining, not examined out of frames.
N.B. Views of the Ottoman Dominions... was published in London in 1810, printed by T. Bensley for R. Bowyer. Condition: The four plates are: Ancient Bath near the Fountains of Palici, Part of the Grand Gallery of the Temple of Diana, Monuments Near Tortosa, and Monuments Near Tortosa No. 2.
Frame dimensions are 18 x 21 3/8 x 1 inches.
