Watercolor and Pen Rich Family Record, Justus Dalee (New York/Wisconsin, 1793-1878), dated 1838, drawn in red, blue, yellow, green, and black, composed as a keystone arch above double columns festooned with floral garlands, the columns surmounted on one side with a man and an anchor, and on the other with a mourning woman, the keystone with birds and hearts, all above the marriage and vital statistics of the family of Josiah Rich and his children from two wives, Hannah Skinner (1785-1820) and Polly Brookins (1792-1874), (laid down onto card, toned, trimmed, losses, large repaired tear), 14 x 12 in., unframed.
Sheet is split vertically through the center, surface abrasions, loss near lower right corner, but fragment is present. Sheet is laid down on paper board backing.
