Watercolor and Pen and Ink "The Family of Capt. Abel and Abigail Cutting" Register, Hannah Livermore, Sudbury, Massachusetts, 1825, designed as a memorial landscape below an arch, above the vital statistics of Abel, Abigail, and their offspring, above encircled inscriptions relating to "parents," "family," and "children," all flanked by columns topped with gold leaf circles, and further inscriptions along the lower edge including the maker's name, 14 1/2 x 10 1/2 in., in a period black-painted and gilt frame.
Note: Information written on the reverse relates to the Cutting family, the Livermore family (Daniel Livermore married Hannah Cutting, one of the children listed in the register), and related inscriptions found at the Sudbury cemetery.
