Walter H. Durfee & Co. Mahogany Nine Tubular-bell Hall Clock, retailed by Tiffany & Co., c. 1890-1900, cast brass urn finials atop the swan's-neck hood with carved rosettes and eight tapered fluted columns, spider web design waist door flanked by fluted brass capital quarter-columns, inset paneled base, framed fabric back, all resting on ogee bracket feet, composite brass dial with applied silvered and brass arabic numeral chapter ring, engraved spandrels with boss reading "Tiffany & Co. New York," chime/silent and Westminster/Eight Bells subsidiary dials, and a painted moon's phase in the arch, eight-day quarter-chiming on nine tubes movement, rear damascened plate stamped on top edge twice "Walter H. Durfee & Co./Providence/R.I.," as well as on the tubes, regulated by a pendulum and three brass-cased weights, ht. 99 in.
Note: There is an engraved brass presentation plaque on the interior of waist door reading " From the Officers and Employees Seaboard Air Line to Mr. R.C. Hoffman March 1899."

Condition: overall very nice condition, case with typical nicks, waist door lock replaced, movement appears to be recently serviced, was running at the time of pick up. 95 in. without finial
