Victor Kullberg Two-day Ship's Chronometer, C.C. Hutchinson, Boston, no. 8974, silvered roman numeral dial with up/down indicator, running seconds and marked "V. Kullberg, London, Made for C.C. Hutchinson, Boston," silvered spade hands, gilt plate chain fusee movement with split bimetallic balance, spring detent escapement and helical hairspring, blued screws, and engraved "Adjusted/Jewelled in four holes/Kullberg London," in a fully gimbaled brass bowl with screw bezel housed in a glazed, two-tier, brass-bound mahogany box, wd. 7, dp. 7 ht. 7 1/2 in.
Condition
Condition: overall nice condition, winding setting and ticking at time of cataloging, case some wear to damasceneing on plates, little to no oxidation. Case top with 3/8-in. dia. patch.
