Two Staffordshire Pink Lustre Decorated Historical Jugs, England, each black transfer printed, one in pearlware with portrait of Fisher Ames to one side, an American eagle to the reverse, below the spout inscribed "Henshaw & Jarves Importers of Earthen & China Ware Boston From Wood & Caldwells Manufactory Burslem, Staffordshire," ht. 6 5/8; another buff ground with cartouches to either side with American eagles and flags, one side inscribed "Success to the United States of America," the reverse with "Peace, Plenty & Independence" surrounded by New York, New Jersey, Boston, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland, ht. 5 1/4 in.

Success jug: 1/4" chip to spout; lustre wear along top rim.
