London: Cochrane & M'Crone, 1834, eight volumes half-bound in tan leather with marbled paper boards, gilt-lettered on a red and a dark blue-green morocco spine labels, gilt-stamped on spine, gilt head edge, frontispiece portrait of Burns in the first volume, frontispiece and engraved title page in each volume, 7 x 4 1/4 in.; Burns, Robert (1759-1796), The Complete Works of Robert Burns. Philadelphia: Gebbie & Co., 1886, six volumes bound in tan cloth, gilt-stamped on front cover with dark red-brown stamped border, gilt-lettered and gilt-stamped on spine, blind-stamped on back cover, full gilt edges, frontispiece portrait of Burns, illustrated throughout, 9 1/2 x 6 1/2 in.
