Théodule Augustin Ribot (French, 1823–1891), Le déjeuner des cuisiniers, published by Cadart & Chevalier Editeurs, Paris (with their dry stamp l.c.), signed within the plate, etching on paper, plate size 9 1/2 x 12 1/4 in., (affixed to backing with clear tape to upper and lower edges, toning); Martin Petersen (American, 1866-1956), Silversmiths, initialed and dated "M.P./1920" in pencil l.r., etching on laid paper with Strathmore watermark, plate size 7 x 8 in., (affixed to window mat with linen tape to upper edge on the verso, deckled lower edge, loss to l.r. corner, horizontal crease to lower margin, dog-ear creases to corners, scattered handling creases and crimps near edges, pale mat burn, pencil inscriptions to lower margin and verso).Condition
