Bird Mountain, signed and dated in pencil beneath the image l.r., titled l.c., inscribed "epreuve d'artist" l.l., color aquatint on paper, plate size 9 3/4 x 13 1/8 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Mielatz with toning, not examined out of frame;
Bird Mountain with toning, creases, loss, small tear, and small stain to the outer edges of the sheet, affixed to an smaller piece of corrugated cardboard on the reverse.
Provenance: The Mielatz from the collection of Arthur B. Davies.
N.B. Although the Mielatz print is not numbered, a label of the reverse states that it is from a limited edition of 100 printed by the artist himself. Labels on the frame backing are from Knoedler & Co. and from earlier auction sales including one providing the provenance "From the Collection of the Late Arthur B. Davies."
