Two-day Parkinson & Frodsham Marine Chronometer, no. 3771, 3 1/2-in. dia. silvered roman numeral dial marked as above, engraved United Kingdom coat-of-arms and exhibition 1851 shields, internal bayonet-fit dust cover, 2 1/2-in. dia. chain drive fusee movement with damascened plates engraved "Parkinson & Frodsham, Change Alley, London," spring detent escapement, split bimetallic balance, diamond endstone, blued helical hairspring, pillar screws, set up ratchet and pawl, fitted in a three-tier mahogany box with inset brass carrying handles, brass escutcheon, vacant circular mother-of-pearl boss, two partial interior box labels from A.J. Paine & Son and Parkinson & Frodsham.
