- Lot Description
Two Cast Iron Pots, America, late 18th/early 19th century, the one round-bellied vessel with gate mark, on three feet and with bail handle, with raised mark "PHOENIX WORKS/No. 12" around a phoenix within border, (imperfections), ht. 5 3/4, dia. 7; another round-bellied vessel with gate mark, on three feet with bail handle, with raised mark, "AGAWAM 14," (imperfections), ht. 7, dia. 8 1/4; another round-bellied pot with gate mark, on three feet with bail handle, with raised mark, "AGAWAM 10," (imperfections), ht. 5 1/4, dia. 6 1/2 in.
Provenance: The Howard Roth Collection.

On Phoenix Works pot, some interior rust; feet worn down; on Agawam 14 pot, some surface rust; on Agawam 10 pot, some rust and discoloration.
