Three Slip-decorated Table Items, England and France, early 19th century, a mustard pot with cat's-eye decoration on a band of blue slip; a marmalade pot with earthworm decoration on an ochre slip background, and an earthworm-decorated teacup impressed "MONTau" mark for Montereau, France, ht. to 3 1/4 in.
Note: The straight-sided pot may be what was referred to in an inventory of the potworks of John Wood of Brownfields, Staffordshire, as a "marmalet," or marmalade pot.Condition
