Three Framed 19th Century Botanical Prints:
Pierre Joseph Redouté (French, 1759-1840), Two Works: Rhododendrum Ponticue and Aesculus Hippocastorum (Horse-chestnut), both signed in the plates "P.J. Redouté pinx." l.l. and "Mixelle l'ainé Sculp." l.r., color engravings, sight sizes 11 3/4 x 8 7/8 in.; James Andrews (British, b. 1861), Laelia gigantea, signed in the plate "Jas. Andrews del & lith." l.l., "Vincent Brooks imp." l.r., initialed "JA" within the matrix l.c., hand-colored lithograph on paper, sight size 15 7/8 x 11 7/8 in. Condition: Redouté works with staining, not examined out of frames.Condition
Condition: The three works are framed in identical frames. Redouté frames measure 20 x 16 1/2 inches. Andrews frame measures 25 x 20 3/8 in.
