Cowper, William (1731-1800), The Task, Baltimore: George M'Dowell, 1831, fully bound in dark brown speckled leather, gilt-lettered on spine, signature "Samuel Pussel" on front endpaper, 6 1/4 x 3 3/4 in.; Cowper, William (1731-1800), Poems, Boston: E. Lincoln, 1802, two volumes half-bound navy morocco with marbled papers, gilt head edge, gilt-lettered and gilt-stamped spine, frontispiece with portrait of Cowper, 6 3/4 x 4 1/4 in.; Francis, Phillip, A Poetical Translation of the Works of Horace, London: Printed for A. Millar, 1749, two volumes, fully bound in speckled and paneled leather, gilt-stamped and gilt-lettered on spine, full marbled edges, frontispiece engraving with portrait of Horace, 12 x 9 1/2 in.
