Three Blue Transfer Jugs, England, c. 1800-1830, each blue underglaze, an early transitional Chinoiserie Dutch-shaped earthenware jug printed in Temple Garden and The Temple Steps patterns, unmarked, ht. 8; an earthenware Dutch-shaped jug printed in the House Guest pattern, unmarked, ht. 8 5/8; and a large earthenware commemorative jug printed in the Chinaman with Rocket pattern, the initials “RSJ” painted in brown and dated "1800," rim enameled in brown, unmarked, ht. 8 7/8 in.

Condition
Condition: Two pattern jug: Very good condition with minor rubbing to the handle and a small firing flaw on one side.
House Guest pattern jug: Very good condition with one 1/4 in. chip to the edge of the spout and a 1/8 in. chip to the rim that have been modestly restored.
Commemorative jug: Good condition with some wear to the enameling around the rim and tanning throughout the body.
