Stainless Steel Gubelin Triple-calendar Moon's Phase Wristwatch, c. 1950s, silvered roman numeral dial with outer five-minute track, blue printed day-of-the-month track, day-of-the-week and month apertures below 12, gilt hand set with sweep center seconds, stepped faceted lugs, signed crown, screw-back case marked on interior "152596," Cotes de Geneve decorated 25-jewel automatic movement, dia. 37 mm.
Note: Gubelin was founded in 1854 in Lucerne, Switzerland, as a small watchmaker's business and jewelry shop. Over the years, they have partnered with some of the world's most prestigious Swiss watch manufacturers, placing their name alongside the likes of Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe. Today they are the most esteemed luxury goods marketplace in Switzerland.Condition
Condition: overall very nice condition. case and lungs retain crisp lines, winding setting and ticking at time of cataloging, all functions advancing as intended. Case and crystal with scratches. It has been brought to my attention that this dial has been repainted 4/21/20.
