Small Fraktur of Man and Woman, attributed to Friedrich Krebs (1749-1815), probably Berks County, Pennsylvania, c. 1795-1805, depicting a large plant with yellow and red flowers growing out of a vase, flanked by a man and a woman in colorful late 18th century clothing, in a molded black frame with a gilt liner, ht. 4, wd. 6 in. (sight).

The image is backed with very fine tissue to stabilize the sheet, there are approximately six very small (mostly c. 1/8 in. or less) repaired holes in the sheet and approximately three repaired tears (c. 1/2 in. or less) extending into the sheet from the left edge. The sheet mounted on the back board using tissue hinges.
