Signed and dated "CONOVER 1949" on the reverse, identified on labels from the William H. Lane Foundation, Leominster, Massachusetts, Museum of Modern Art Loan, New York, and The New Gallery, New York, affixed to the stretcher.
Oil on canvas, 51 x 30 in., framed.
Condition: Minor surface grime.
Exhibitions: Young Painters U.S.A., World Assembly of Youth, August 1951, Invitation Exhibition, Ithaca, New York.
