Raymond Jonson (American, 1891-1982)Kaleidoscope TrioEach signed and dated "Jonson 57" lower right, titled and inscribed "...RIGHT/(OIL NO. 5-1957) JONSON" on the tacking edge and on the backing of the right panel, with typewritten labels indicating hanging, cleaning, and conservation instructions affixed to the stretchers (center and left panels also signed "Jonson" on one label), with an ink stamp from Peter Eller Gallery, Albuquerque, on the backing of the center panel.

Condition: Possible small spot of retouch lower left on the right panel, shallow canvas dents lower left and upper right on the center panel and lower center and center left on the left panel, scattered small accretions, minor surface grime.

Condition: The two side panels have a pattern-like impasto (as originally created). Inscribed "GROUND: PITTSBURGH WALLHIDE FLAT WHITE PBX/2 COATS 7/12-55" on the stretchers of the center and left panels.
