Rare Oak Joined Table with Drawer, Massachusetts, late 17th century, the overhanging rectangular pine top on channel-molded rails, the drawer with turned wooden knob and channel-molded scalloped rail below, the ring-turned columnar legs on blocks continuing to turned feet joined by square stretchers, old surface, (imperfections), ht. 27 1/4, wd. 37, dp. 24 in.
Provenance: Rev. W. Brooks Rice; W. Brooks Rice Jr.; by descent to the present owner.

top with two shrinkage cracks, left front leg cat-scratched, losses to ring-turnings on legs.
