Rare Export Porcelain Tea Cup and Saucer, China, c. 1775 or 1725, the well of the saucer and the exterior of the cup decorated with a profile portrait of a man wearing a laurel crown, surmounted by a coronet, and flanked by polychrome floral decorations, with a larger polychrome floral decoration on the reverse exterior of the cup, the saucer with a gilt rim, cup ht. 2 1/2, saucer dia. 5 in.
