Note: Takis was a self-taught Greek artist known for his kinetic sculptures. In 1968, Takis studied at the Center for Advanced Visual Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Takis' works are in private and public collections around the world including the Centre Pompidou, Paris; Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Peggy Guggenheim Museum, New York; the De Menil Collection, Houston, Texas; Tate Modern, London; and The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice.
