Pair of Victorian Elkington & Co. Champleve and Bronze Tazza, mid to late 19th century, attributed to Auguste-Adolphe Willms, each with blue, red, and black enameling highlighting an anthemion motif, supporting a cut glass dish, with a base of a shaped apron and resting on paw feet, marked "645" with Elkington & Co. marks and rubbed date marks, ht. 9 1/4 in.
N.B. Auguste-Adolphe Willms was head of Elkington's design department from 1855 to 1899, and created his "Graeco-Pompeian Dessert Service," which would have included a large tiered stand and smaller tazza for exhibition in the London International Exhibition in 1862.

Scattered minor chipped losses to enamel, fairly unobtrusive. Light surface wear. One stand with metal fatigue to upper rim. One with deeper nicked loss to base. Glass with scattered minor nicks and abrasions, one with apparent straw-lines, no apparent cracks or large chipped losses.
