Ormolu and "Bleu Turquoise" Porcelain Lyre Clock, Joseph Dieudonne Kinable, c. 1820, porcelain case with painted polychrome floral garlands on a white background, beaded edges, floral swags and a large sunburst featuring Apollo, beaded ormolu ring surrounds the Richard Symes white porcelain roman numeral dial gilt arabic numeral ten-minute markings, with pierced engraved hands, signed "Kinable," eight-day, time and strike double fusee flat bottom movement with deadbeat escapement, rack striking, grid-iron knife-edge pendulum with screw beat adjustment off the crutch, ht. 23 in.
Note: Maker is Joseph Dieudonne Kinable 1794-1830, Richard Symes 1816-1835 is the dial maker, Sevres is the porcelain maker, and there is a 1848 George Tupman repair mark on movement.Condition
