Olga Fr÷be-Kapteyn (Dutch, 1881-1962)
Four Screenprints: The Portal of Initiation, Om Mani Padme Hum, The Divine Breath, The Light of the Soul Unsigned, titles printed beneath the images, published by Vincenzo Bona-Torino, c. 1930. Image sizes to 13 3/4 x 9 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Toning, acid burn to the edges of the sheets.
N.B. Olga Fr÷be-Kapteyn was a Dutch spiritualist, theosophist, and scholar who gained recognition in the 1920s. She founded what became an annual meeting of intellectual minds known as Eranos, which today continues to provide an opportunity for scholars of many different fields to meet and share their research and ideas on human spirituality.
