Elliot Carved Mahogany Nine Tubular Bell Hall Clock, London, first quarter 20th century, two large brass finials above the carved and applied decorated hood with turned and fluted columns flanking the composite brass dial, applied gilt arabic numerals, pierced center and spandrels, moon's phase in the arch, beveled glass sides, waist door with beaded edge, central shell carving in the base, all resting on four-toe clawed feet, eight-day quarter-chiming on nine tubes movement, rear plate with stamps "J.J. Elliott/Rosebery Avenue/London/England 9851," also "H&H" in a square, regulated by a pendulum and three brass-cased weights, ht. 99 in.
Condition
Condition: back fabric is ripped, case with scuffs, scratches. Tubes are not market. Movement complete but overhaul is recommended.
