Note: Inscriptions on a piece of paper affixed to the reverse appear to imply that this portrait shows Charles Cecil Bisshopp and Harriet Anne Bisshopp. According to the inscriptions, Charles died in Jamaica in 1808, and this painting was done by Anna Torelli of Florence. What appears to be a later inscription, dated 1820, is a memorial poem.
