Isaac Thomas Carved Curly Walnut Tall Clock, Willis Town, Chester County, Pennsylvania, c. 1765, carved rosette swan's neck hood above the delicately carved stylized shell and keystone, engaged three-quarter turned columns flanking the composite brass dial with roman numeral chapter ring, matted center, date aperture, applied cast brass spandrels, and maker's boss engraved "Isaac Thomas, Willis Town" incised decorated full-length waist door with mitered corners, eight-day brass, five-pillar movement with rack and snail strike and recoil escapement powered by two brass-cased weights and regulated by a strap brass pendulum rod and bob, ht. 97 in.

Condition: overall clean condition with case refinished years ago, lacking finials, feet are replaced and base cut down.
