Invar 14kt Gold Grand Sonnerie Minute-repeating Hunter-case Watch or Clockwatch and Chain, c. 1900, white arabic numeral dial with five-minute division outer track, sunk center, and sunk seconds, grande sonnerie/petit sonnerie/silent lever located on bezel, stem-wind, lever-set C?tes de Gen?ve decorated movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two gongs activated by a push button, gold cuvette, and glazed movement cover, interior engraved rear back case, monogramed front case, number 47732, 14kt gold chain with onyx fob with an embossed profile bust of a bearded man, dia. 55 mm, watch 123g.
Note: This example performs on a single chime lever for the strike/silence and Grande Sonnerie/Petit Sonnerie opposed to the usual dual lever. It can also be set to chime the hours and quarter hours automatically, similar to what you would find on a clock.Condition
Condition: overall clean example with movement chiming as intended, minute off at 12:55. No hairlines to dial, flee chips to crystal edge around 7. Chain wt. 12g. Fob 10g.
