N.B. Howard Bond studied photography with Group f/64 members Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham, and Brett Weston. Their influence is prevalent in his large-format, sharply-focused photographs of the American West. Bond's photographs are published in two monographs,
Light Motifs, which features detailed views of churches and cathedrals, and
White Motif: The Cyclades Islands of Greece, a study of the whitewashed church buildings on the Greek Islands.
