Dated and signed "©/1921/HARRIET W. FRISHMUTH" a left side of base and stamped
"GORHAM CO FOUNDERS/QBWS" right rear of base.
Bronze with green/brown patina, height 11 1/2 in. (29.2 cm), presented on a black marble plinth.
Condition: Surface imperfections to the back of the figure's lower left leg, small crack to surface of baby toe on left foot, wear to patina, accumulated dust and dirt to interstices.

N.B. The Vine was modeled in 1921, and cast between 1921 and 1966. The Frishmuth Catalogue of Works (see above) lists 317 casts bearing the Gorham QBWS marking out of a total edition of 396 castings.
