- Lot Description
Hanging Scroll Depicting a Ferry on a River, Japan, Hanabusa Itcho (1651-1724), with an inscription reading "Kitamado-ou Itcho sho" with a round seal, ink and color on silk, painting 17 3/8 x 26 1/2 in.
Note: Formerly on loan to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York in 1988 for an exhibition entitled The Art of Sharing Tea: Chanoyu.

repaired tears to silk, stains to the right side, spotty mildew in progress, tears and worm holes to matte.
