French School, 18th Century
Four Vues d'Optiques: Vue de Pondichery dans les Indes Orientales, Vue de la Riviere et l'Isle de Courou dans la Guyane françoise, Vue perspective d'un superbe Palais aux environs de Madrid, and Vue générale de Lisbone
Three published in Paris by Jacques Chereau (French, 1694-1776), Lisbone published by an Act of Parliament, 1760, all identified in the plates.
Hand-colored etchings and engravings on paper, plate sizes to 11 1/8 x 16 7/8 in. (28.3 x 43.0 cm), in matching frames.
Condition: All with creasing and soiling to the margins, Pondichery with significant foxing, others with scattered foxing, not examined out of frames.

Condition: Three are framed so that the full sheets are visible. Sheet sizes are 13 3/4 x 20 1/2 in.
Framed measurements for each are 17 1/2 x 24 1/2 x 1 inches.
