Four Unframed Waterfowl Etchings: Black Ducks Towering (Paff, 305), 1930, published edition, signed "FrankW.Benson." in pencil beneath the image l.l., numbered "305" in pencil l.r., plate size 11 3/4 x 7 7/8 in.; Rain Squall (Paff, 317), 1931, unsigned, numbered and titled "#317 Rain Squall" in pencil l.l., plate size 6 7/8 x 8 3/4 in.; Three Mallards (Paff, 334), 1933, proof A-2, signed "FrankW.Benson." in pencil beneath the image l.l., inscribed "A-2 334 Three Mallards" in pencil l.l., with a collector's stamp from the Boston Public Library, Merrill Bequest (L.4745), to l.r. corner, plate size 11 3/4 x 9 7/8 in.; and Sunset at Long Point (Paff, 333), 1933, published edition, signed "FrankW.Benson." in pencil beneath the image l.l., titled and numbered "Sunset at Long Point 333" l.l., plate size 10 x 8 in. Condition: Mallards with creasing, soiling to edges, minor staining; Squall with pale staining, others with minor toning.Condition
Condition: Rain Squall: sheet size 9 1/8 x 11 1/5 in. (deckle edge on two sides)
Sunset at Long Point: sheet size 14 3/4 x 11 1/2 (deckle edge on two sides)
Three Mallards: sheet size 15 1/4 x 13 in.
Black Ducks Towering: sheet size 16 1/2 x 11 5/8 in. (deckle edge at bottom)
All four unmatted and unframed.
