Four Wedgwood Black Basalt Items, England, 18th century, an inkpot sander, with two loop handles to the squat form decorated with drapery swags, ht. 2 5/8; sugar dish vase, with laurel swags terminating at angel heads, set on a triangular plinth, ht. 5 1/2; sugar dish vase, with laurel swags terminating at angel heads, set on a square plinth, ht. 5 1/2; and a five-sided bamboo teapot and cover, lg. 5 3/8 in.; impressed Wedgwood & Bentley marks.
Condition
Condition: Inkpot: Rim chips and one handle restored.
Sugar dish vase on triangular base: No cover, restored at join of bowl and socle; numerous small chips along footrim of plinth.
Sugar dish vase: No cover, restorated at join of bowl and socle; chips to footrim and covers of plinth.
Teapot: In good condition throughout.
