Four Transferware Punch Bowls, England and Wales, c. 1780-1820, a footed pearlware punch bowl printed in black underglaze with a line-engraved Chinese Sports Variation pattern, impressed mark “J.W,” ht. 3 1/2, dia. 7 3/8; an earthenware footed bowl printed in blue underglaze with two patterns: Chinoiserie Fern on the exterior and Chinoiserie Palm on the interior, unmarked, attributed to Swansea, ht. 3 7/8, dia. 9 1/2; an earthenware punch bowl printed in blue underglaze with the Queen Charlotte pattern, brown enameled rim, unmarked, dia. 10 1/4; and an earthenware punch bowl printed in blue underglaze in three patterns: Tall Lantern Carrier on one side, Man in Sampan on the other, and Temble with Bells at the center, unmarked, attributed to Cambrian Pottery, ht. 4 3/4, dia. 11 in.

Condition
Condition: Chinese Sports bowl: Good condition; two inside chips and two hairline cracks to the foot of the bowl.
Chinoiserie Fern and Palm bowl: Very good condition. One small glaze chip on the interior border.
Queen Charlotte bowl: Very good condition with only a 3 x 1/2 in. firing flaw in the inner rim of the bowl.
Tall Lantern Carrier bowl: Very good condition with no evidence of chips, cracks, or restorations.
