- Lot Description
Four Staffordshire Pottery Biblical Subject Bocage Figures, England, early 19th century, each polychrome enamel decorated, including St. Peter, ht. 8 1/4; a marked Walton figure of St. Paul, ht. 10; Abraham Offering up Isaac, ht. 11; and another version of Abraham Offering Isaac, ht. 7 in.
Condition
Condition: St. Peter: Chips to back footrim and to a few bocage leaves; scattered repairs to bocage leaves.
St. Paul: Extensive repairs to all bocage, through his neck and to sword.
Abraham 11": Chips and losses to bocage, one branch of and simply reglued; chips to back of head and to end of knife. restored through at his neck, to knife and at wrist.
Abraham 7": Bocage with some restoration and losses; restorations to angel's arms.
