Four-piece Shreve, Crump & Low Co. Sterling Silver Tea Set with Tray, Boston, Massachusetts, late 19th century/early 20th century, including a small tea pot with an urn finial and wooden loop handle, ht. 8 3/4; a creamer, ht. 4 1/2; open sugar, ht. 4, each with hexagonal bodies and feet, pearled rims, and decorative hammered handles on the creamer and sugar; with a Theodore B. Starr, c. 1900-1924, round tray with reeded rim interspersed with small flowers, "MCE" (Mary Channing Eustis) monogram at center, dia. 12 in., approx. 50.1 troy oz.
Provenance: Attributed to Mary Channing Eustis (1885-1973) of the Eustis Estate in Milton, Massachusetts.Condition
Condition: Finial on teapot crooked; creamer and teapot wobble slightly; small dent on tray rim.
