N.B.
St. George is presented in a double-sided frame, so that the inscription from Albert W. Woods on the reverse is visible. The inscription confirms that the arms were presented to General Sir John St. George when we became a Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, recorded to him in the College of Arms.
Condition
Condition: Largest frame measures 14 x 12 1/2 x 1 inches.
It appears that there is dirt on the underside of the glass, which may throw shadows on the works making them appear to be spotted.
