- Lot Description
Four Cast Iron Pans, America, late 18th/early 19th century, a flared vessel on three feet with long handle, with raised mark "DH," (imperfections), lg. 12, dia. 6, ht. 4 1/4; a skillet on three feet with sprue mark and cast-in "W" on bottom of vessel, lg. 17, dia. 9 1/2; a round-bottomed skillet on three high feet with long straight handle and rattail hanger, the handle bearing an indistinct mark, possibly "...BACK," lg. 19 3/4, dia. 7 1/2, ht. of vessel 5 1/2; and a round-bottomed skillet with long, hooked handle on three thin legs, the handle with impressed mark on bottom "SAM," (imperfections), lg. 14 1/2, dia. 6 3/4 in.
