Five Pewter South Carolina Regiment Buttons and a Unidentified Loyalist Button, c. 1780, including an a large size 1st South Carolina Regiment button raised "SC/1" and double concentric ring border (Troiani/Kochan A1SC.e), a small size 1st South Carolina Regiment button with raised "I" and plain rim (Troiani/Kochan A1S.b), a large size 2nd South Carolina Regiment button with plain script "2" (Troiani/Kochan A2SC.a), a large size 3rd South Carolina Regiment button with a crude raised Arabic numeral "3" (Troiani/Kochan A3SC.d), a small size 3rd South Carolina Regiment button with crude raised Arabic numeral "3" (Troiani/Kochan A3SC.e), and a large size unidentified Loyalist button with raised horse and rider motif holding a saber (Troiani/Kochan LU.a).

Condition
Condition: Buttons in excavated condition with surface corrosion and some losses on the edges. The shanks of the large size 1st, large size 2nd, large size 3rd, and the large size Loyalis button are intact.
