Federal Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Inlaid Tambour-front Desk, Massachusetts, c. 1800, the tambour doors each opening to three compartments above two drawers, above a projecting base with fold-down writing surface lined in tan leather, above a crossbanded case with two inlaid drawers joining square tapering legs, old refinish, (imperfections), ht. 43, wd. 38, dp. 21 1/2 in.
